My living room needed some serious help in the color department, so I decided that some new pillow cases for the (super ugly) couch pillows were in order. The dimensions aren’t important… just work with the pillow form that you’ve got on hand!

Annnnnd you’re done! Flip it right side out and stick your pillow in. Voila! Instant living room face lift!

Have you ever wanted to make a rag quilt, but didn’t know where to start? Well here you go! A quick tutorial to get you through.

My finished quilted ended up 6X8. You will need 2 fabric pieces and 1 batting piece for each square that you want in your quilt. I cut my fabric 7×7 inches and my batting 5×5 inches. Any dense Warm and Natural type batting will do the trick. I used some kind of bamboo batting because at the time I purchased it it was the cheapest. My quilt’s finished dimensions are 41X35, and I took 1/2 inch seams on everything.
